(BOISE, Idaho) -- A pair of police tips led to three arrests in an early morning burglary, police say.

Samuel J. Terry, Chase B. Erickson, and Dylan C. Reeder were taken into custody after breaking into a car on Maple Grove on Friday.

Police received a call at 3 a.m. reporting that three suspects had walked through a parking lot near South Latah and West Alpine Streets, examining several car doors.  According to police reports, the men, all 21 years old, ransacked the last car they found and fled the scene as officers arrived.

It was only because of a second call police say they tracked the burglars down.  A tipster saw the men break into a second car, and gave the cops detailed information which they used to make a traffic stop.  All three were arrested for burglary.  Terry, the driver, was also charged with driving under the influence and probation violation.
