(BOISE, Idaho) -- Fire caused significant damage to a home in Boise on Wednesday afternoon.
Fire officials said when crews arrived shortly after 4 p.m. at a home on the 2700 block of North Christine Street, they found smoke and flames coming from an exterior wall of the garage of the home. Firefighters managed to keep the flames from spreading to the interior of the home, however, there was heavy smoke damage to the entire house.
The occupants of the home said they lost two ferrets to the heavy smoke.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
