(BOISE, Idaho) -- Police arrested a 41-year-old Boise man on burglary charges on Sunday after he allegedly stole an alcoholic beverage from a Boise convenience store.
Christopher Whipple, 41, is accused of entering the store on South Capitol Boulevard on Sunday at about 10:20 a.m., making a small purchase with his credit card and then leaving the store with an unpaid-for alcoholic drink. A store employee contacted police who were initially unable to locate Whipple.
About an hour after the first incident, Whipple re-entered the store and again made a small purchase before taking -- and not paying for -- another alcoholic drink.
Officers responded to the second incident and arrested Whipple on felony burglary charges.
