(BOISE, Idaho) -- A Boise man was arrested on Monday after he was caught with illicit drugs during a traffic stop.
A Boise patrol officer reportedly spotted Daniel Eakins, 55, in a parked car near North Hilton Street. The officer saw the vehicle, which was parked with its engine running, in the same location for an extended period of time, prompting him to contact Eakins.
The officer determined that Eakins had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear. During a search of the vehicle, Eakins was found in possession of a baggie that field-tested positive for methamphetamine. Officers arrested Eakins on possession of methamphetamine and failure to appear charges.
