(BOISE, Idaho) -- Police arrested a 25-year-old man on drug charges Tuesday after a K-9 led them to the suspect's illegal drugs.
Officers located Trevor L. Ketterling, who had an arrest warrant for parole violation charges outside a retail store in the 5200 block of West Franklin Road at about 7:30 p.m. Police made contact with him and received consent to search his vehicle.
A Boise Police K-9 named "KC" alerted on the car, indicating the likely presence of drugs. Officers discovered 8.6 grams of meth, a glass pipe and syringes inside the suspect's backpack after searching the vehicle.
Ketterling was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, probation violation warrant charges and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the Ada County Jail.
