(CALDWELL, Idaho) -- A 20-year-old Caldwell man has been sentenced to life in prison for attempting to solicit teenage girls on Facebook and other social media sites.
Alex E. Rangel was charged with lewd conduct for illegal sexual conduct with a 14-year-old he met online, the Idaho Statesman reports.
Earlier in 2013, he was accused of trying to lure a 13-year-old girl using Facebook. Officials say he contacted more than 24 teen girls on the social media site, and also used meetme.com and Kik Messenger.
Rangel is eligible for parole in five years.
