(BOISE, Idaho) -- A 25-year-old Mexican national was sentenced to 30 months in jail on Tuesday in connection with the Treasure Valley methamphetamine distribution ring.
Luis Angel Nunez-Leon, along with four co-defendants, was charged with crimes related to the meth ring. He pleaded guilty on Nov. 26, 2013, admitting to driving a co-defendant to a drug deal, being aware of the arrangements and handing methamphetamine to a confidential informant.
Each of the other co-defendants was senteced to 57 or more months in prison.
Nunez-Leon faces just 30 years in jail, but will spend three years on supervised release afterwards. He must also forfeit over $6,000 seized during the investigation.
