(BOISE, Idaho) -- The Idaho State Board of Education voted down a bill to allow concealed weapons on college campuses Monday.
According to the Idaho Statesman, all six board members voted in opposition of the bill. The bill was sponsored by state Sen. Curt McKenzie.
If it had passed, the bill would have allowed concealed weapons on campus in areas other than dormitories, residence halls and entertainment venues with a capacity of over 1,000 people.
