(BOISE, Idaho) -- A Boise man was arrested on Tuesday after he reportedly crashed his vehicle into a pair of cars and broke down the door of a nearby residence.
According to the Boise Police Department, Rodney Scrivener, 48, crashed into another car, then drove through a residential yard, striking a fence and a second car.
After parking on the grass in front of a home, Scrivener then kicked in the front door of the residence, where he was confronted by a resident. Scrivener struck the resident before attempting to flee, but he was restrained by police.
During the arrest, the 48-year-old struck one of the officers.
Scrivener is charged with battery on a police officer, malicious injury to property, battery, reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident and unlawful entry.
