(BOISE, Idaho) -- For the fourth consecutive year, Idaho's agricultural cash receipts hit a record high.
Idaho farmers and ranchers are projected to have made $7.82 billion in sales of crops and livestock, according to research done by the University of Idaho. That figure is a three-percent increase over 2012.
The state's net agricultural income is projected at $2.73 billion, about the same as last year due to slightly increased expenses, according to the university's study.
Cash receipts on sales of cattle and calves, milk, other livestock, barley, dry beans, hay and potatoes all totalled higher than in 2012.
