(BOISE, Idaho) -- A Boise man was arrested for methamphetamine possession on Sunday after he was pulled over for a traffic violation.
The Boise Police Department reports that at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday, an officer saw a driver cut across traffic lanes near West Ustick and North Maple Grove Roads without using a turning signal.
The officer stopped the car and identified the suspect as 43-year-old Shane D. Chavers.
Inside the car, police report finding a "glass smoking pipe containing a white crystalline substance, which field tested positive for methamphetamine" as well as drug paraphernalia.
Chavers was arrested and charged with controlled substance violation and possession of drug paraphernalia.
