(BOISE, Idaho) -- Police arrested three people on drug charges after a traffic stop on Interstate 84.
The police report states that an officer who made contact with the driver smelled marijuana coming from the car. A K9 unit was called to the scene and alerted on the vehicle.
Officers searched the vehicle and found a small amount of marijuana and methamphetamine in addition to "used spoons" and syringes.
Whitni Hurd, 27, James Perkins, 37, and Krystal Thomson, 27, were each charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Hurd also faces charges of controlled substance violation and probation violation. Perkins faces controlled substance violation charges as well as possession of marijuana and driving without privileges.
