(BOISE, Idaho) -- A driver who was pulled over for having a broken tail light on Sunday was arrested on drug charges.
According to the Boise Police Department, Alexander Oneill, 21, was the subject of a traffic stop for the broken light at about 11 p.m. on Sunday. When officers approached the driver, they learned that his license had been suspended.
During a search of the vehicle, Oneill was found to be in possession of one gram of marijuana, a hypodermic needle, and residue that tested positive for opiates.
Oneill was arrested on two counts of possession of a controlled substance, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without privileges. He was booked at Ada County Jail.
