(BOISE, Idaho) -- A Boise man was arrested over the weekend after he allegedly pulled a gun on officers at a local home.
The incident happened on Saturday night at a home, located in the area of N. Five Mile and W. Ustick roads. Police say following a domestic violence report, officers went to the home and was let into the residence by the alleged victim.
Upon the officers entering the home, police say James Twitchell reached for a handgun and began to turn towards the officers. A struggle ensued and officers were able to get the gun away from Twitchell and place him under arrest.
Twitchell, 55, is charged with attempted murder, battery on a law enforcement officer and domestic assault.
