(BOISE, Idaho) -- A motorcycle driver was killed in a crash Sunday night, Boise police report.
Officials say the motorcyclist, a young Boise resident whose name has not yet been released, was driving westbound on Fairview Avenue at 10:30 p.m. Witnesses said the man had been driving very fast, passing vehicles on the right. He was hit by an eastbound vehicle turning left onto Bryson Road.
The driver of the vehicle was uninjured, but a passenger in the vehicle was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The motorcyclist was seriously hurt and died shortly after being taken to the hospital.
Police say the motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet or any protective gear when the crash occurred.
The incident is still being investigated.
