(BOISE, Idaho) -- Police found a hit-and-run suspect hiding inside his home after a collision between an SUV and a bicycle on Tuesday night.
According to the Boise Police Department, the driver of the SUV had fled the scene of the crash immediately. Witnesses reportedly gave police a description of the SUV, including a license plate number. Officers identified the owner of the vehicle and found the suspect hiding in a bedroom closet at the home.
The driver was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident and driving without privileges. He was booked at Ada County Jail.
The cyclist, a woman in her 20s, was not seriously injured. She was treated by paramedics on scene.
