(BOISE, Idaho) -- Police have arrested a 28-year-old man on drug charges after a traffic stop in Boise.
Officers conducted a traffic stop after observing a vehicle with a bright light facing the rear of the vehicle near Veterans Memorial Parkway and Chinden Boulevard. After contacting the driver, police determined Anthony M. Deherrera was currently suspended from driving.
After a Boise Police K-9 named "Jaxx" alerted on the vehicle indicating a likely presence of drugs, officers recovered a small amount of meth, five hypodermic needles and a spoon with meth residue on it.
Deherrera was booked into the Ada County Jail and charged with possession of a controlled substance, driving without privileges and possession of drug paraphernalia.
