(NORTH PINE CREEK, Idaho) -- A horse loose on a highway was struck and killed near North Pine Creek late Thursday night.
According to the Idaho State Police 43-year-old Natalie Wight Allison, of Utah, was driving north on Highway 31 at about 11 p.m. when she struck a horse.
The horse died from the impact.
Police are looking to identify the owner. The horse is described as dark brown with a black mane and a turquoise blue halter. Anyone with information can call the State Police at 208-525-7277.
