(ADA COUNTY, Idaho) -- A man who was being sought by authorities in Ada County has been taken into custody.
Scott Dennis Davis, a suspect in a car theft incident and who was also wanted for allegedly violating parole, was arrested around 7 p.m. Tuesday. He was found after hiding out from officers near Five Mile and McMillan Roads following an incident with authorities earlier in the day, according to the Ada County Sheriff's Office.
"The 38-year-old Davis had been hiding there since shortly after noon Tuesday. Davis took off on foot after he purposefully smashed a stolen van into an ACSO patrol car to avoid arrest," the Sheriff's Office said in a statement.
