(NAMPA, Idaho) -- Nampa Police say the disappearance of Selena Thomas is now being investigated as a homicide, and at least three people have been arrested in the case.

On Thursday, police said due to physical evidence and information they've come across, the case has gone from being a missing person case to a homicide.

Investigators are now focusing on an area south of Melba on Can-Ada Road, as they look for further evidence in the case.

Thomas, 36, was last heard from on Aug. 14, according to officials. When officers arrived at her home in response to a missing person's report, they discovered "suspicious circumstances."

On Wednesday night, police arrested Jose Cruz Flores, Daniel Franscisco Sena and Jorge Luis Garcia. All three have been charged with aiding and abetting murder and failure to notify authorities of a death. Flores and Sena are also charged with destroying evidence.

Meanwhile Thomas' boyfriend 39-year-old Alfredo Martin Martinez is being held at the Canyon County Jail on a parole violation. Police said he is a suspect in the woman's disappearance, and charges against him are pending, based on the evidence collected.
