(BOISE, Idaho) -- The Whiskey Complex and Mack fires in the Boise National Forest are both fully contained on Monday, with fire crews completing their work ahead of forecasted lightning on Tuesday.
According to the National Wildfire Control Group, the fires covered more than 9,000 acres. Rehabilitation work is still needed, and nearly all evacuations were lifted.
Forest Road 395 remains closed and Grimes Pass Road and South Fork Payette River Road are both open only for local residential traffic.
