(BOISE, Idaho) -- The body of a man found next to a totaled car on Bogus Basin Road on Thursday is believed to be that of a missing Caldwell man.
According to the Idaho Statesman, Eian Wintz, 36, had been missing since Tuesday.
Authorities spotted the car about 300 feet down the embankment on Thursday afternoon, at about 9:30 p.m. a man's body was recovered from the scene. The Statesman says that the man was killed after being thrown from the vehicle in a crash.
The vehicle reportedly matches the description of Wintz' and an autopsy is expected to confirm the identity of the deceased on Friday.
