(BOISE, Idaho) -- The Boise Airport announced plans on Tuesday to include more local providers and products at airport concession facilities, "allowing the airport to more closely reflect the charm and individuality of the Boise community."
The new program aims to use the airport to highlight local restaurants and products. Among the businesses who will partner with Delaware North Companies , the contracted concession company, are Parilla Grill and 13 Street Pub and Grill, which will have locations before the security checkpoint. Other businesses, including Bardenay, Einstein Brothers Bagels, Big City Coffee, Cross Grain Brewhouse, and Harvest and Ground Bakery and Coffee will have post-security concession locations.
Existing concession stands will feature locally sourced food and beverages as well.
Boise Mayor David Bieter called the airport "one of the most convenient and beautiful airports in the country."
